Dr. Cynthia Moreno is a warm, caring, personable physician who loves caring for all members of your family. She is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. She is a graduate of Western University of Health Sciences, where she also obtained a Masters Degree in Health Professions Education in 2000. She graduated from USC/California Hospital Family Medicine Residency Program where she served as chief resident. She treats the whole patient, not just the illness, for that reason she specializes in caring for all members of a family.
She has been a resident of Chino Hills since 2001 where she lives with her three children and two dogs. In 2009 she formed a private practice in Chino Hills as she enjoys caring for the community in which she lives. After separating from that practice in 2014, she formed Chino Hills Family Medical Group with partner, Kristi Diehl, PA-C. Together Dr. Moreno and Kristi Diehl share similar philosophies and goals in caring for patients. They both provide home visits to four local assisted living facilities to care for geriatric patients whom can no longer drive. They provide newborn exams, infant and pediatric care. Adolescents and adults of all ages are the mainstream of their family practice. They provide physicals, well women exams and care for chronic illnesses.
They look forward to caring for families through the generations.

Kristi Diehl is a board certified Physician Assistant and has been working in health care for more than 15 years. She is a graduate of U.C. Irvine where she received her Bachelor’s degree in Biology. She worked in the Department of Neurology at UCLA where she had published articles in the field of stroke research. She then began the Tumor Tissue Bank in the Department of Pathology at U.C. Irvine Medical Center to help future cancer research. Missing that personal interaction that comes with patient care, she moved on to complete her Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies at Western University of Health Sciences in 2005 and has been working in Family Medicine since that time.
Kristi feels strongly that her role is not only of a health care provider, but also that of an advocate for her patients and a partner in their care. She believes that patients need to be heard fully and that they should be encouraged to ask questions and contribute to the medical decision making process. It has been her experience that patients that participated in the discussion better understand and adhere to their treatment plan, yielding better outcomes for her patients.
Kristi lives in Chino Hills, is married with two children and has practiced medicine locally for the majority of her career.
