A Message to Our Patients Regarding Coronavirus (COVID-19)

 
 Dear Patients,
 
Our first priority is to protect you and our community.  We are sensitive to concerns surrounding COVID-19 and are here for you!  We are adhering to and continually monitoring the recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO).
 
In order to decrease exposure to potentially contagious patients, we have instituted the following policies.
 

• Patients who have routine check-ups will be offered to reschedule to a later date

 

• Patients who are requesting a telephonic visit will be determined on a case by case basis and subject to provider approval. 

 

• https://abbottstore.com  is available for purchase of Similac formula in the event you are unable to find it locally.

 

• Telephonic screening will be done at time of scheduling appointment and if an at-risk patient needs Covid-19 screening, patient will be met in parking lot, provided a mask and escorted immediately to an exam room. 

 

• We ask that patients who have appointments, do not bring additional persons to their visit, this includes children and spouses.  We ask that they remain outside the office, preferably at home.

 

• At this point we are able to test a small population of patients.  We hope in the near future ALL patients can be tested, however at this time, we have to adhere to guidelines illustrated by the CDC and will evaluate each patient case by case during their office visit and examination.

 

• If you have an urgent question, please call the office and ask to be transferred to a medical assistant.  If your question is less urgent, a message will be sent to your healthcare provider and answered within 24 hours.
